It had three months Malin didn’t contact his mother. Everyday and everynight Malin’s mother stood in the pier waited for Malin Kundang’s ship. There was so much pray that Malin’s mother gave to him. She’s so missed him.
After several years, Malin Kundang’s mother was suddenly surprised by a an arrival of a big ship in the pier that Malin left his mother before. When the ship finally pulled over, there was a man who looked wealthy stepping down the floor with a beatiful woman. She couldn’t be wrong. Her blurry eyes still recognized him. Malin’s mother quickly came to the ship and hugged him. “Malin, you’re back son!” said Malin’s mother. “I miss you so much” she said it again. But Malin Kundang didn’t show any respond. “You’re not my mother, my mother would not wear a dirty clothes like this.” said Malin. He was ashamed to admit his mother to her wife.
“Malin, I’m your mother.. You don’t recognized me?” said his mother. Malin don’t show any respond. “Guard, take this woman out of this place! And give her some money so she would not disturb me again” ordered Malin to his guard. And the ship was ready to continue their journey.
Suddenly, Malin Kundang’s mother stood in the pier alone and she’s praying. “God if he’s not my son let him get a safe journey, but if he is i curse him to a stone.” Then, the wind blew so hard and a thunder storm came. Malin’s ship was wrecked. He was threw by the wave out of his ship on a small island. Suddenly, his body turned into a stone. He was punished for not admitting his own mother.
In the next morning, Malin Kundang was ready to go. Three days ago he had meet a success sailor.
